Paris Independent Film Festival is preparing for our third fantastic festival of independent filmmaking from November 19 – 23, 2017 as usual, at some of the most historically, culturally and architecturally remarkable independent cinemas of the City of Lights.
The Paris Indie is dedicated to celebrating the works of independent filmmakers from around the world, and we pay special attention to ultra low-budget films by first and second-time directors.
One of the ongoing hosts of the 2017 Paris Independent Film Festival will be the prestigious Reflet Médicis in the Quartier Latin. The Paris Indie 2017 will showcase the best of indie filmmaking from around the world and will screen over 60 independent films at the Ciné XIII Théâtre at the top of the hill of Montmartre 19-21 Nov & 23rd Nov. at Reflet Médicis.
The final three screenings of our 2017 edition will take place at the fabulous Reflet Médicis in the Quartier Latin on the 23rd November from 6pm till midnight. The Reflet Médicis cinema is one of the most technically advanced theatres in Paris. This venue is off the Boulevard St Germain, in juxtaposition with the Sorbonne the typical Rive Gauche bars and restaurants of the Rue Mouffetard which lead the flâneur along the historic Latin Quarter.
Join us for drinks before Paris Indie opens and convivial networking among filmmaker colleagues from around the world at the intimate bar of the Saint James Albany, 202 Rue de Rivoli, opposite the Louvre and the Jardin des Tuileries 9pm till midnight on the 22nd Nov. The historic setting is priceless.
